"The bed in my room at Etna suites was the best hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. I stayed there at the start and the end of my visit in Sicily and the beds were magnificent! The location is great, and very convenient to walking around town. On my second visit I was told that breakfast was served from 7:00 am. Since I had a flight to catch, I was there at 7:00 am for a quick bite to eat before my departure. I was told by the breakfast staff that it was closed. There was already plenty of food set out but I wasn’t allowed to come in for breakfast. I waited several minutes, and finally left. "

"Palace Catania is an excellent place to stay. Our check-in experience was outstanding, largely due to the front desk attendant named Annalaura. Her professionalism, courteousness, and cheerfulness made the entire process pleasant and expedient. Fluent in English, she was more than happy to assist us in any way possible to make our stay a pleasant one. Additionally, the remaining staff, particularly in the breakfast service area, were also warm, friendly, and attentive - and the pastries were delicious too! Finally, the room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful balcony view."

"Great location. 15 min walk from city centre. Near huge outdoor market that opens everyday to 1p. Breakfast was plentiful but everyday is same. Bathroom clean but Lighting is dim. Housekeeper keeps opening windows and mosquitoes came in"

"Nicola was very helpful with everything. The unit was 3rd floor no elevator…older building; nice renovation . Modern high quality finishes and bathroom fixtures. Big comfortable size compared to London hotel rooms. Did not try the breakfast …. But many restaurant options nearby…Nicola gave us a great restaurant suggestion."

"A lovely continental breakfast with a choice of scrambled eggs and bacon too. A great range of breakfast food too. The kitchen staff are lovely and we had a fantastic dinner in their Michelin guide restaurant. Their selection of wines complements every dish. Our double standard room was a good size, with a modern bathroom. We stayed on the fourth floor with the roof windows as the only source of light. There were several bars nearby and it was a bit noisy at night, so ask for a room on the side. We arrived around 10pm as a group so checking us all into 3 rooms took a while, which wasn't ideal as we were all quite tired after a long journey. But I guess the receptionist did their best.
