Beautiful, eclectic and well stocked
"We stayed at this beautiful casita for 9 nights in May. Listened to new birds, saw new stars and satellites and tripped into Taos and Arroyo Seco for great art and food. This casita was full of interesting and unusual art and relevant books. Also the kitchen was a cooks dream. The pantry even contained most of the basic supplies and spices we needed to make green pozole! Our hosts were extremely responsive to the few questions we had. Although we didn't use the hot tub it did look supremely inviting! Our only issue was the altitude, making us huff and puff with the slightest exertion (we normally live at 900' above sea level, as well we are in our late 60's). Clearly our hosts couldn't remedy these issues! We especially loved the semi-isolation of this house! While the grocery market was only about 10 minutes away and Arroyo Seco maybe 15, the stars were clear, birds interesting and coyotes melodious! Next time we're in Taos we will try to stay here again!!"
