We love the Pine Inn! It has historic charm and coziness especially during the holidays. We have stayed here a few times and they never disappoint! Only thing we miss is a small coffee pot in the rooms so we could make a small coffee before heading out for breakfast.

Hotel has lots of character, room was great, clean, the bed was easily the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at on our 2 week roadtrip. Location was an easy walk to the beach and in the core area with the shops.

We had a great stay at the Pine Inn. The location is perfect, very central and within walking distance to everything. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the hotel itself is very cute. Our room was quite small, but we didn’t mind it at all. Overall, a wonderful stay and we’d happily come back!

Room was clean. Location of the hotel was fantastic. However parking was a nightmare when we arrived at around 3pm. The dedicated lot is very small and it was full so we had to look for parking on the street. But fortunately we got a spot on the lot later in the day in the evening. Other than the parking issue everything was great. There are plenty of places to eat but make reservations or else you might be waiting for long time.

This is a quaint, very charming, centrally located , “Super” Staff, great parking and we enjoyed our stay. (The Hotel itself needs some upgrading as far as condition of the furniture, carpets, door handles, bath faucets, towel racks, and dusting, we were in room #45.)That was for the owner, they need the extra hours to do this.

If you like old properties with good historical context, or have been to Europe and stayed in some of their older properties, then this place is for you. Great location, limited parking, and some really interesting period pieces for furnishings. Price of anything in Carmel is pretty high, so take $$$$ in stride. Don't miss their restaurant!
