"The hotel is at a very central and convenient location. Plenty of off street parking and 2 free EV charging spots. The room we had was nice and bathroom was well stocked with amenities. The shower was a good size with good water pressure. The breakfast was a highlight of the hotel, with imagination not just the same old boring food. Everyday the food was different. They were very tasty and beautiful too. I highly recommend the Stilwell to anyone who wants to visit Carmel!"

"Tough to find good accommodations in Carmel. This place was very nice. Too pricey for what you get but with such limited options this was our choice. Hotel says ocean views and that just isn’t true. But we didn’t come to Carmel to hang out in our room. Biggest issue here is parking. No parking lot just take your chances finding someplace on the street. Staff was truly exceptional! Yes would stay here again given the alternatives. "

"Beds were two full size and not queen size so tight for a family of 4. Ackward room layout. The moment you open the door you would hit the bed. Nice and polite people. Place seemed clean and well maintained. Good location. There isnt much in terms of amenities though. Fireplace outside is nice but you are surrounded by cars in the parking lot. "

"The location is unmatched, staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Rooms are cozy and views are gorgeous. 5 min drive from downtown Carmel. Carmel is one of the best places to bring a dog. BUDS, the restaurant in house, is phenomenal. The breakfast (included) is the best breakfast I’ve had. That alone would make me come back. "

Although there was a ceiling fan, it would have been nice to have kept the windows open. Unfortunately, no screens to keep the bugs out of the bedroom. No air condition in room.was so hot in our room we paid $300 per night in weekdays really expensive for that type of room.if you are going to go get the cheapest room not the ocean view."
