The resort itself is beautiful, with a comfortable bed &lovely pool area. There were some initial concerns around customer service. Eg: when asking for a taxi to be arranged for dinner, we were simply directed to a display of local taxi cards. A more proactive response, such as offering to arrange this on our behalf, would have been appreciated. The room was generally clean, though there were a few frustrations. The heating and air conditioning are centrally controlled, which proved inconvenient. Although we were told control would be released to the room following a call to reception, this reverted back to central control very quickly. There was no fridge in the room on arrival, despite a designated space for one. We requested a fridge, staff warned one might not be available, it was delivered promptly. It worked well, though it was not particularly clean. Before dinner, we visited the bar and ordered two cocktails, which were pre-mixed and very poor. We then opted for champagne, which was initially flat. However, the barman was extremely helpful and promptly opened a fresh bottle for us, Breakfast the following morning was excellent overall. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful, and the breakfast staff worked exceptionally hard. The only downside was that white bread ran out despite there being nearly an hour and a half of service remaining.While there were no amenity kits provided in the bathroom, the toiletries themselves were very good.
