"From the moment we walked through the door, it felt like getting a big hug from a well-loved and beautifully cared-for home. It was the perfect choice for our annual girls’ trip!This was our 31st trip together, and over the years we’ve graduated to looking for homes with at least four comfortable, comparable bedrooms—something that isn’t always easy to find. This home absolutely hit the mark. Everyone had a lovely space of her own, while the common areas gave us plenty of room to relax and enjoy being together.Being so close to the Cliff House resort was an added bonus. We enjoyed a couple of early-morning walks around the beautiful property and had a wonderfully relaxing dinner there with a waterfront table.Richard and Amy were incredibly easy to communicate with and wonderful hosts. We really can’t compliment them enough.At the end of our stay, we all agreed that this was one of our best annual trips—and after 31 years of traveling together to different places around the country, that’s saying something! A big part of what made this trip so special was having such a warm, comfortable and welcoming home base."

"Overall, this beautiful and comfortable old farmhouse was wonderful for our stay in Ogunquit. While we had a great experience, there were a few minor housekeeping and maintenance details that could use some refinement, including a need for extra basic toiletries. Additionally, we hope the owners can invest in repairing a few key areas of the deck railing. None of this negatively impacted our stay though, and we would consider staying again!"

"Wow! This property is such a lovely vintage ME retreat. The views are amazing and we loved the Adirondack chairs by the water and the screened in porch. The house was very clean and so well stocked; the kitchen was very functional. The screened porch is lovely with very nice furniture. Beds were comfy. It is so close to the Cliff House, literally a 2-3 minute walk to the wedding site we attended. The owners were very responsive and made some necessary minor repairs quickly once they were notified. We booked through VRBO and somehow missed that it is managed through a 3rd party so no direct messaging available through VRBO. While very pleasant, the management company was,unfortunately, very difficult to reach. No method for direct texting (it exists but no response). You go through an answering service. You hold several minutes just to get to the options menus for ME vs. VT. Then another long hold. Then, they were never able to locate my reservation and we had to go through a lengthy "manual entry". Then they would "page it out'. If Carol was on, it was a very efficient response; she was fabulous. If not, either no response or 24 to 36 hour wait. I am sorry for this as we truly loved the spot and would love to return; I think once they achieve an efficient system for messaging it will be great!"
