The property is dated, although I stay when prices are low when I book last minute, it’s not value for money. they have a habit of asking for a deposit by way of physical card and don’t accept contactless apple or other method. Nowhere in the policy states they only accept physical cards, and to be threatened by an arrogant on a power trip manager that my booking will be cancelled and not refunded unless I can produce a physical card and not they don’t take contactless Apple Pay.
The bathrooms have rust all around and the only thing added post 1988 are the telephones in the rooms, Food is overpriced even at discount rates, with better quality 200yards away, but if you don’t pay £15 deposit by way of hard physical your booking is cancelled, I guess it’s better than having to leave your goat as a deposit dating back to when it was built as technology has not caught up.
