"On our arrival at the hotel Expedia hadn’t let the hotel know that we needed an accessible room. The front line staff were very apologetic so as an apology the hotel kindly upgraded our stay to an even better room. Such a beautiful hotel. As a wheelchair user accessibility is of course of the utmost importance. From checking in to the hotel and leaving, nothing was too much trouble. Everything was easy for me, and I would definitely recommend a stay here at The Clayton, Cambridge. We loved it."

"Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. It was our 4th time at this hotel, but the day we arrived they were changing the chain of the hotel so they had problem with the system and it interfered with our stay. We arrived at the hotel 9:30 am. They promised our room for 1 pm, but the check-in was possible only after 3 pm. Very disappointing because we were exhausted!"

"Early checkin was an awful experience, we called ahead and confirmed we would like to book early checkin, we were told we could arrive at 2pm. When we arrived there was no sign of early checkin and we were told they can clean a room but they had no idea how long it would take. When returning at 3:30pm we got our room and had to pay full early checkin price. The garden terrace was overgrown and we could barely open the door. The weed smokers in the open courtyard at night ruined the experience...

"Stayed on a Sunday evening, booked a suite with breakfast. The room was more a large room than a traditional suite. The hotel and room was clean but felt like tired. Attempted to go to the bar which is in the basement, it was unattended so ended up leaving and going to a bar down the road. Overall stay was okay, no issues but would not come back."
