"Once you close your room door you feel total silence. For the price it is by far the best hotel I have stayed at. They were doing some remodeling so the breakfast area was compact but this should be a short distraction."

"This was our second stay at the Agave House this year. Great floor plan, well-stocked and very comfortable (luxe beds) in a beautiful, remote setting. It’s a 2-1/2 hour drive from the Phoenix area and Sonoita is amazing. Quiet mornings with wildlife, afternoons exploring, gorgeous sunsets and this comfortable VRBO. Owner Kathryn is the best host. Feel lucky to have found such a wonderful, private place to get away. Thanks, Kathryn!"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The place was small, super clean, and so cute. It had everything we needed and truly felt like a home away from home. The owner was very responsive and made everything so easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!"

"I didn’t realize until I arrived that this is a major lodging chain property. Despite there appearing to be long-term tenants on site, the motel is terrific. It’s quiet (even though on a primary street). The room was big, with a kitchenette (all pots and pans and plates are kept by the office…just ask). Everything worked fine, and the room was very clean. Plan on the hot water arriving in a leisurely manner for your morning shower, though! The manager checked me into my room, and she was absolutely charming and professional. And there is a great diner a couple minutes walk from the hotel. I would consider staying again."

"Went to the area for hiking and birding. Wanted to stay at Patagonia, but couldn’t find a dog friendly listing available. This place was just a few miles up the road. Perfect!! When I drove in, within minutes, the host came down and made me feel extremely comfortable.Cannot recommend enough."
