Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was cold though, the food was left in chafing dishes (Bain-Maries) to keep warm and everything was cold, we waited 10 mins in case the food was changed and all they did was add some fresh eggs and sausages to what was left.

Incredibly outdated, broken and cracked bath panel, broken bathroom unit, broken long mirror (removed, pins still in wall), bathroom door very badly scuffed. Furniture very aged and mattress could feel the springs when lyijng down. Linen looked clean but smelled. Staff members, quietness, views and location were all fantastic - such a shame. Update the rooms, or even just fix the broken fixtures, and I would consider returning.

This is the third time we visited this hotel as it's in the perfect place in which to visit relatives in Bury. The room was large and at the back there is just fields so nice and quiet. Breakfast was good despite not receiving one of the items I'd asked for in the full English. The down side was that the furniture in the room was a little dirty and drab, nothing that a lick of paint couldn't cure. The bathroom door was also dirty as was the radiator and showerhead. We were only staying the one night so not so important. The bed was comfy and the grounds was nicely maintained.
