"I loved this location and they offered a beautiful breakfast buffet. One like I’ve never seen in many years! The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the place is quiet. We had harbour view and we were not disappointed. I want to return to this place in the future. It was excellent value for money!!!"

"The friendly hosts and the elaborate, tasty breakfast were the highlights of our stay here. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower set-up on the clawfoot tub reminded us of our first home and were fine, but a grab bar to help getting out would be helpful. The gardens were pleasant. The outside of the building was a bit tired and worn looking; I'm sure upkeep on such a large, historic building is tough."

"Office is only monitored M-F business hrs. So not sure how to communicate after hours? We arrived late on Thursday and were not in the room we booked. Dealt with that issue in the morning on Friday and it was quickly resolved and our parking space was moved to a secure indoor parking space once they noticed we had bikes. We were happy that we were there during business hours. Unsure what would have happened if this was on a weekend. There were no elevators in either building. If you have mobility issues ask for the first floor. We were on the third floor and it was a bit difficult for my husband. We managed ok. We had a great time cycling in the parks around the city."
