Absolutely beautiful hotel, all the staff were so friendly, the room was superb, nice touch of free gin and tonic in the room and little milk bottles, far better than those plastic pods!
Didn't catch the receptionist's name, but she was super friendly,we had a good laugh with her 😀
Incredible views in a beautiful setting. Very handy for Beaulieu and walking in the New Forest.

Lovely situation and some friendly and helpful staff.

We have been at the master builder s house 3 times this yr . Each time has been a relaxing and extremely enjoyable stay Maxine and Richard Green
This hotel is all about the location, although the welcoming and the level of service was great too. Rooms were exceptional, along with the meals we enjoyed here.
Marvellous location, river views and no traffic noise. Staff friendly and efficient. Two dining options within the hotel. Wonderful breakfast. Will definitely be returning.
Had a great stay ,staff very helpful and friendly.Beautiful setting, calm and peaceful.Breakfast waS fantastic actually cooked for you after you and great choice.Bed really comfy slept like a log.Ate in the Pub great food and wonderful attentive sevice there too .
A lovely hotel in a marvellous location, with a splendid view from our comfortable bedroom, and a delicious breakfast. We plan to revisit - and perhaps stay for longer. The village is fascinating and delightful, and the walk to Beaulieu was well worth it.
A very enjoyable stay. Staff were great and food excellent .
Coffee and tea availability quite poor in room. No instant coffee sachets, no choice other than expresso and insufficient milk .
The situation was excellent. Very friendly staff. Fine dining although the breakfasts were average. The bar served fine beer and offered a good eating alternative to the hotel restaurant.
The room was comfortable and quiet with instant hot water and an excellent shower.
Perfect for a winter break away from it all! Despite being cold outside the hotel was amazingly cosy. We loved that we could actually see the stars in the night sky due to lack of light pollution. Dinner in Henry’s was fabulous. We slept so well as there is no traffic noise. The perfect little mini break in a very interesting and historic location. Wonderful for anyone with a particular interest in all things nautical!
What a wonderful find the hotel is set in a wonderful part of the New Forest Bucklers Hard. Beaulieu. Exbury gardens.
Every staff member was very helpful, charming and professional.
The hotel and grounds are very nice. Overlooking Beaulieu river.
The food was excellent, the restaurant - Bar staff were amazing.
The room was very nice.
The whole experience was relaxing and we were looked after very very well.
Will be returning at some point in the near future

Another very pleasant stay. Rooms have been slightly redecorated since our last visit, and stair carpets renewed.
Menu has also improved in Harry's Bar with better choices & more vegetables included with dishes. Scallops were excellent as were the burger & ham, egg & chips!
Nice cooked breakfast, but continental alittle lacking still.
Overall, a really nice place to stay for a night or two if you value tranquility over amenities...perfect for us. Possibly not so good for younger families though.
