We liked the eclectic, informal and quirky art and decor. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The minibar was thoughtfully stocked and snacks were available. Showers were hot and clean.Staff were very considerate ,helpful and attentive.

Gorgeous property and staff were 10/10! Immediate area around the property was run down and didn’t feel particularly safe at night - Would still book though. Couple of noisy bars close by, but music finished by 1am.

This our second trip to the Artists Residence and it didn’t disappoint. It was bang in the middle of Carnival so great spot for us.

Nice old world hotel.

Hotel in an old historic property. Lots of quirky artifacts in the room which is great for travelers. Suite was spacious. Only comment is that suite 11 on the second floor was above the basement bar and the music was loud until midnight when it closed. Upside was that the music was pretty good and I had jet lag so not really an issue.
