"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The location is very central and easy to get around. I note that they are currently building a new metro station next door so it will be even easier in future. It’s an easy walk to the botanical gardens, the river and the bridge across to Southbank. The shower was great and the toiletries provided smelt wonderful. "

"The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and big screen TV. The separate couch was handy. The rain shower felt great after a day around the pool with plenty of pool furniture. The breakfast had many choices, and the omelettes were tasty. The staff were helpful at all times. Nice lobby bar and bar menu. Overall, an enjoyable stay. "

"asked if I could use the toaster with my own bread as their breakfast service wasn’t open and I had a big event on that morning and it was too much of a big deal so they said no. The guy at the front desk was pretty rude Other than that ok "

"We have stayed at this hotel many many times before and find the beds very comfortable and generally the rooms are decent. This time the room was in dire need of an upgrade. It did appear clean but there was a lot of mould in the grout and on the tiles. We also had 2 cars with us and they wanted to charge us $22 for the first car park and $37 for the second. The carpark was half empty. The pool has lots of mould in the tiles and there was a couple of broken ones laying around. We normally find the staff friendly and helpful but not this time unfortunately. I wonder whether because we book on Expedia we get a non upgraded room. It was also very noisy at the pool area with the building going on next door. "

"Parking is great. This is our second time here. Must say the room felt a little old and darker overall. Facing Charlotte street. All still clean, having a little kitchen and laundry is so handy. The bathroom smelt quite bad, just that yucky dirty pipes kind of smell. Also 1 night i called reception for bottle opener for our red wine and was told no. Next night i asked a friendly person on the desk and he was so happy to arrange and send one up to the room. So that was a little disappointing. Also saturday morningwas awoken to building works right below our window. Sounded like they were doing it on our window and wall. So that was annoying for a sleep in away from kids! Overall great location, clean and spacious for a couple of night's away!"

"What a great location for walking to the Botanical Gardens and along the Brisbane River Waterfront; Also to walk both the new iconic bridge & The Story bridge within an hour, is an interesting and very scenic walk, cheers for that!"
