"I love Adoba. They leave the key in the room. Then just text or email you which room is yours- no check in, just park and walk into your room. They do daily room cleaning if you want. Staff is very friendly, but you dont have to interact much if you dont want. The beds are crazy comfortable. I will say some of their rooms are just a bed, tv, maybe a chair, and a bathroom. "Beautiful restful lake view property, less than 90minutes drive to Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Small town center had convenient, market restaurants, and a gas station with delicious ice cream. The owner and staff were gracious and accommodating. The continental breakfast with yogurt option was good; however, if you need more protein or something more substantial, bring in or go out to eat. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore.
