"Guestling Hall is een traditioneel Engelse Hall. Personnel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We konden eerder inchecken wat super fijn was. We verbleven daar een nacht op doorreis naar de Eurotunnel."

"The hotel is in a good position in the old town and the rooms are comfortable, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom. The lino in the bathroom could do with replacing as it was stained. Cleaning staff and breakfast room staff were good and breakfast was good. Hotel was good value."

"My initial impression wasn’t great. The hotel part was really in need of a good lick of paint and a new carpet. That said, it is a very old building so some allowances should be made. The bed in the room was very comfortable with fresh white linen and fluffy pillows. The bathroom was tiny but modern and clean. The staff was nice and very welcoming of my little dog. "We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one...

"It’s not like staying at a Premier Inn or Travelodge but does the job. Could do with some updating and don’t expect an early breakfast as it starts at 9am. You get what you pay for to be honest and the bed was comfy, loo, shower there so just what you need essentially. "Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows.
