The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. "We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience."

"Absolutely worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was put in room #1 which is right next to the door to the reception as well as the stairwell. The room has _zero_ sound insulation so every time someone exited or entered the reception area, the door would slam shut. The room vibrated with every slam. Additionally, you heard every stomp of feet on the staircase. I checked out at 3:15am because it was a waste of time to stay any longer."

The property was spotless , lovely and warm , central to everything in Grassington and I would highly recommend and not hesitate to book again . A lovely welcome gift of wine , chocolate and crisps was much appreciated along with the tea , coffee and sugar . Fully deserved the 5 stars . Also no need to use your car , lovely local walks and a fantastic bus service ."
