"Fantastic experience and definitely recommend this quaint hotel. It used to be a mansion to a rich aristocratic family (von Löw), who then became a poor aristocratic family and the building fell into disrepair. Completely renovated by investors 27 years ago, but a lot of the original features remain. Property has easy parking and is located just outside of Butzbach; easily reachable via the A5. "arrived after our check in time walked in to no staff but keys were laying on the counter and we just took one for a room. Felt safe coming back later that night with the keyless entry system. Room was fine, clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom was typical small European with shower corner. Breakfast was good, asked for fried eggs and received. Upon checkout staff didn't ask about stay just took our keys. "
