I really loved this place and could have stayed another couple days. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best I had during my entire trip in Japan - very delicious. I enjoyed the calm and relaxed atmosphere and the appreciated the kind and helpful staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the lounge that offered many snacks and drinks and was a nice retreat.

We enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be incredibly nice and accomodating. They had tattoo covers available at the front and I appreciated that all of the ammenties were explained to us in the beginning. The location was nice as it is close to beppu station and we really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. All of the food was very delicious. One thing that I wished was for the kaiseki dinner that I had better japanese to have gotten the full experience, but that is on me.
