"This property has seen better days. The bed was comfortable, room furnishings spartan but adequate, bathrooms were clean but clearly had received a lot of repair work, plaster patching, touch up painting, etc. I had two rooms in a two-night stay. When I woke up in the first room and used/flushed the toilet, the toilet started singing and wouldn't stop. The management moved me to another room (right across the hall, actually) for the second night so no big inconvenience, but still. . ."

"The check in with Ella was quick and efficient. I asked for recommendations for a steak house and she provide me with several options within my price range. The room is very clean and spacious. Nice touch of having gummy worms package on the bed spread. I had forgotten breakfast was included and it was nice and fresh. Simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links/patties, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful."

"About thirty minutes after getting to my room, I went into the bathroom and sit down, and almost ended up in the bathtub. The toilette was not connected to the floor. The bathroom floor was completely flooded. I went down to the front desk and reported it. They didn't offer another room, and didn't have anyone available to come up and check it out. Their solution was to give me a handful of towels to sop it up with. I put them on the floor and, when I checked an hour later, they were floating on the floor. Water was still coming out. I went down to the desk again, and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. I was on the third floor, and had to use the public restroom in the lobby for my stay. They told me the next morning that I would be compensated $10 for not having access to my bathroom. I expected a full refund, and I believe anyone else would expect the same. It's been 10 days, and they still haven't even refunded the $10. I would have given them one star, but the continental breakfast was above average. I guess if I want a full refund, I should at least pay for the breakfast. I've stayed here before, so I guess I'm just disappointed with their resolution. No bathroom, no shower should equal no charge. Thanks for letting me vent a bit "

"It was great to stay in a hotel on Rt. 66 while traveling the MotherRoad. This was my second choice, but honestly, should have been my first. There are old cars from yesteryear out front, and the lobby takes you back to a soda shop. Check in was super easy and quick. I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. We only needed for one night, so I wasn't looking for much. Our room had a desk area, king bed, fridge, microwave. There was a lack for storage. I utilized the tip of the fridge for bathroom storage since it was right outside the door. There was only a pedestal sink in the bathroom with no additional storage. Standard ooks on the back of the door, but that was it. Could have helped to have a shelf above the sink. And the bathroom fan co.es on automatically when the bathroom light is on. Can be annoying. But those are petty things. Like I said, we were there for 1 night. These are single level units in a row with your private entry, and parking right outside your door. You will not have anyone above or below you. And we did not hear our neighbors. Breakfast was fine. Standard. Small area so they have to go boxes to take back to your room if you would like. Outdoor tables if weather permits. Staff super friendly. Would most definitely return if in the area. It's really adorable"
