Rooms need a bit of looking after - though there was a letter in the room saying they are working on this. Reception checked me into the wrong room and tried to ask me to change rooms at 22:30, after showing me yet another room
I didn’t book (no balcony lower floor, I booked studio panoramic with a balcony)I politely declined moving rooms. I selected the ‘pay at property’ option, but the hotel directly took the money from my card the day before I arrived. Expedia confirmed this, they should not provide the option at checkout if it is not possible to pay at the hotel. Reception did try to rectify this by allowing a payment in cash and a card refund, but the refund would take 10/14 days and they weren’t able to provide me with any receipts of yet more cash being left at reception for payment or a refund receipt for the card transaction.
Location is pretty good, rooms are large. Bathrooms are good.
