"I liked the reception desk, the bar, and the staff. The room was adequate for our needs. We liked the the fact that the hotel had air conditioning since the temperature was abnormally very high during out stay. The hotel is centrally located for visiting the old town as well as the rest of Bamberg - a beautiful town and wonderful to visit."

"The hotel was beautiful and the view from my room absolutely outstanding. The breakfast was good. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were there during the heatwave and there was no a/c, which I don't blame the hotel for, but it definitely impacted our experience on the hottest days of the year. The bar staff were always cheerful when I asked them for yet another pint full of ice (thanks, guys!!), but I wish that there was a more consistent concierge presence at the front desk."

"Great location, clean rooms, cozy bed. Easy to check in. Sweet of them to leave a complementary beer and water. My only complaint was the coffee machine didn't work in the morning (i think it need water or more coffee) but overall great stay for a night in the city. "
