"Beautiful property. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The patio/ terrace off our bedroom was very inviting with two chaise lounges under shade, and a hot tub. Restaurants were nearby and easy to walk to. We needed transportation to a different port than the one across the street for our Viking cruise, and the front desk staff arranged it quickly for us. Highly recommend!"

"The accommodation is tricky to find. Reception was easy enough and enter a code to get a key dispensed. I arrived late afternoon but reception was already closed. The room is straight out of the 1970's and could benefit from a refit. Speaking as someone with food allergies, not ideal to find pans cutlery and plates not clean. The hotel should keep up with the other properties and put the traditional flowers on the balconies A very peaceful place to stay but if I stayed again, I would ask for a rear facing room to get the sun. The area is stunning. Such a shame that smokers are too stupid to read the NO SMOKING signs which includes the balcony"

"When we arrived the receptionist, seemed very confused. We had ordered a room for three people but she claimed that all three people had to sleep in a double bed. After showing the receipt from hotels.com, she agreed to give us a room with three beds. Despite the surprising start, we had a very nice experience at Schlossparkhotel Mariakirchen. It is located near a small castle and a very charming Medieval Inn. It had a nice SPA, an outdoor pool, an excellent breakfast and a spacious parking area. Will definitely consider this hotel the next time I drive through Germany."
