All of the staff were excellent and very helpful, the restaurant food could not be faulted. But the hotel rooms need a good clean, dust and cobwebs . Safe not working and room iron needed to be replaced due to damaged cable , covered with tape.

Assistant from staff was excellent. We were offered a room upgrade but enjoyed the one we'd chosen, as it had lots of room and was comfortable. The complimentary body wash and moisturiser was wonderful with the manuka honey and kawakawa ingredients. We loved the quirky scenic drive from the main road. Nice views of the city.

It was a lovely place to stay where your surrounded by nature and peacefulness. I loved the food at the restaurant and recommend the eye fillet and the secrets of citrus for dessert!

I loved the quiet surroundings. The staff were excellent - very friendly and accommodating. The bed was really comfortable. The room was excellent - spacious and had everything I needed. 2 small things I didn't like - the fridge needed a clean and so did the drawer in the bathroom.

What a hidden gem! Beautifully positioned amongst nature with fabulous views. Our room was spacious, clean, bright and airy with a gorgeous outlook towards Auckland city. The bathroom was luxurious. The restaurant served very nice meals for dinner and breakfast and friendly wait staff. We only booked for one night but would have loved to stay longer. Great spot to explore the nearby beaches of Piha and Bethels

Had a good time, there was an old biscuit that was under one of the beds and there was ants and a blow fly but the service and food was great I really enjoyed my getaway the workers were very nice and Im definitely coming back again
