"There’s fancier options in Taos, but to stay on the Plaza is an iconic experience, even for those of us who are from New Mexico. The rooms are small as one might expect from a historical property, but well appointed and comfortable. The lobby and guest lounge are classic Land of Enchantment, and it’s super easy to walk and shop/eat/drink from the La Fonda. For a quick getaway, it’s a perfect spot."

"Luke communicated with us early and was always available for help. The property was clean and well kept up. Walk into the main entry and you’re greeted by a supply of umbrellas, coffee and/or fresh water infusers and plenty of seating with attractive outdoor patios for relaxing. Sam, who did housekeeping, was very pleasant and the rooms showed their commitment to cleanliness. "We arrived this motel quite late. No problem,the front desk staff quickly checked us in and answered our questions."

"Booked room with a fireplace - just as well as we could not figure out the heating. Turns our a/c and heating are 2 separate units. Although we were there in May, a storm came through the night and power went off. Even so breakfast was great. Lovely place but the unexpected snow meant the pool and hot tub were not available. Would definitely stay again."

"It was too small bathroom. The upstairs stairway was unsafe. Bed was so high off the floor made it difficult to get in for 73/77 year old. I would like you to put what floor you want on . I have heart problems and the stairs were ridiculous step. Won’t be staying there again . Nothing to eat in town on a Monday. Pizza place was so full you couldn’t get in . Need more restaurants . "

"I really loved the Riverside view! The bathroom was huge and had great lighting. The breakfast was so yummy! The hot tub was a great experience being able to see the night sky's and river flow! Would definitely be returning!"

"VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF AND COMFORTABLE HOTEL!! The Ski Valet services are outstanding!! Skiing is fun, but a lot of work… lugging skis, poles, boots, etc. The Ski Valet folks are extremely helpful, making the ski experience stress-free and super convenient. The main lift is just a few steps away from the Valet area. PERFECT SKI-IN/SKI-OUT set-up!!"

"I loved the environment and the aesthetics. But would have wished my bathroom did not have steps. To enter and the living room locked until 7:00am. Overall it was a great place to stay. "
