The staff were incredible, and the breakfast was the BEST. So much food, pleasantly presented and very delicious. The rooms were very dependant on which one you got. My travel partner’s room was lovely. Mine was on the top floor and had a very tiny window and a skylight. It felt very cramped. The bed was fairly comfortable, but there were stains on the duvet cover and the pillows were INCREDIBLY hard. The pillow situation was the same in both rooms. My bathroom did not have a window, and there was a sign that said to keep the door closed when in use as not to set off the fire alarm. The housekeeping staff appear to start work around 7am and use rooms in the building, which was noisy at times. Also for the scent-sensitive crowd, they do not use unscented soap, and when staff are working the building is extra scented.

It was a very quaint little hotel that has been updated very nicely. The rooms were large and clean and modern. The staff was exceptional and the restaurant had very delicious food. Breakfast and dinner!

Room and staff great. Very good food. Buzzing atmosphere. But aware of you book the rooms in Harbour View you do not get a harbour view!! It us just the name of the building! To get a view of the harbour you need to book one of the 2 superior rooms.

The staff really make this place go. It is a little quirky and parking can be an issue depending on your arrival. But this is the perfect place to stay in Anstruther. The restaurant is exceptional, but the staff really made our stay. Super nice and understanding.
