Quiet room next to a stream, Museum Like atmosphere without the musky smell. Nice surprise to find a 4--5 star hotel in the middle of farmland country. Everything you could want in walking distance. Live bands, eateries, shopping and a park for the children.

I loved our stay. The hotel was beautiful, historic, great location, one of my best hotel stays ever!!
This is a wall decor, hundreds of spools of wool because the hotel is a former woolen mill beautifully made into this wonderful hotel.

The staff was great and the room was really nice! The only thing I noticed was that the hallways echoed a lot, especially when people walked around or used the ice machine, which was close to our room. This caused me to wake up throughout the night, but I think it was because of where our room was located. Other than that, I’d highly recommend!

Great place to stay while visiting the Amana Colonies. Very convenient location. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was huge and the rain type shower head was nice. The staff were welcoming and nice. My wife loved how the hotel was decorated. .
