My friend visited Manado and stayed at this resort, she told me that she took the diving package, although she knew nothing about diving.

You will have to obtain a license to dive, but fortunately many resorts including this offer a diving package for beginner. Basically you will have a two to four day course before you can dive in the sea.

The resort is maintained pretty well and staff are hospitable. Best of all, it has easy access and located not far from the city.

The rate of the hotel starts from about $100 depending on the season and class. It is best to stay at least one week if you want to explore the marine life and highlands at the same time.
