The entire staff at the resort are amazing. Our concierge Gina was very helpful with recommendations for tours off the property, and things to do on the property. Carlos and Dieder from the entertainment team were full of energy and so genuine in their desire to make sure we were engaged and having fun. We enjoyed volleyball, live music, bike ride into Akumal and other shows put on by the entertainment team. There was always something to do if you wanted to be interactive. Jose was our pool concierge and always made sure we had clean towels and sun or shade when we wanted it. The beach was well maintained and clean. We were a little disappointed with the dinners- the dining experience and staff were great but the food wasn't super flavorful. On the other hand, we enjoyed our breakfast and lunches tremendously. The property is very well maintained and clean. They are making more efforts to be environmentally friendly, which we appreciate.

Secrets was great. Service over the top. Good food, clean facilities. DO NOT BOOK TRANSPORTATION recommended by hotel. Amstar left us waiting 1.5 hrs at airport. If you look at Amstar reviews they're terrible. An employee told me, you can't expect us to be perfect.

What we liked: *The pool and beach areas had great, attentive service. *Each day, there is a different grill option on the beach which is some of the best food we had the resort. *The bike tour was surprisingly good. It's a 90 minute tour on flat ground with a few different stops in the surrounding area. *The kayak tour and paddle board tours were okay. If you like water sports, this is likely not the resort for you. There are restrictions on when you can use those amenities & booking is competitive. What we disliked: *The check-in process was frustrating. We arrived 30 minutes before 3:00 pm. Waiting would have been no problem, but we were bombarded by staff trying to sell us invitations to timeshare events, spa services, etc. Not one staff member asked, "What would you like to do this week?" If they had, we likely would have gotten answers to questions we had later on. *We were locked out of our room twice during the stay. The first time was a night because the room door did not want to communicate with the app they provide for access. It took several technicians and security to resolve the issue. The second time was at check out. Check out is at 12:00 pm, but they don't tell you that your app will deactivate at 11:30 am. We planned to stop in our room once more right before check out to freshen up and could not get into our room. We had to find someone to let us in and almost missed our airport pickup. *Food ranged from okay to very good. Nothing was amazing.

The service was truly amazing.the grounds are lush and beautifully maintained.fantastic pool area. Great live music. Food was delicious with so many option to choose from. We lived our stay here.

The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, the activities on the resort were entertaining and fun, the resort was stunning and so well kept. We loved everybody we came in contact with, with special shout outs to Antonio, Mauricio and Francisco our concierge. Would highly recommend!

The resort was great, room was fantastic. Caution about the $200 resort credit.The Expedia listing is deceiving. There are limitations such as $10 off a full price wine bottle, $40 off regular priced spa service. Great buffet at the Market Cafe. Nice sit down places near the pool with ocean views (Seaside Grill and Oceana). Fine dining choices in the evening include Himitsu (Japanese), Bordeaux (French)(long wait at times), Portofino (Italian) and El Patio (Mexican). All of the restaurants were fantastic & no resy needed. (Hibachi at Himitsu needs a resy due to limited seating). There are plenty of events during the day that are free. We decided to just hang out at the pool most of the time. The concierges are at every building, and communicate through WhatsApp if you need anything. The staff does go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. The reason I did not rate it 5 is because I did not sleep well at night due 2 the bed & pillows. It was just not comfortable for me. I still prefer the beds and pillows at a JW Marriott. The resort grounds are immaculate! Pools are sparkling clean. Beaches are pristine, smooth white sand that feels like flour on your feet. They have exercise classes, free paddle boarding & kayaking outings and bike ride through the local town. If U take the Wyndham "timeshare" pres, it's about 2hours for $200 credit towards your hotel bill. The survey lady was rude. Just keep saying No until they give you all the bells/whistles.

Nice property. The food was average, but better than other all-inclusive resorts I’ve tried. Great service and very friendly staff. The only issue was that they wasted half of our day trying to sell their travel packages. There was one lady on their sales team who was extremely rude and had a lot of attitude when we declined their “promotion package”.
