4 Evans Terrace Beautiful Cottage in the heart of Aberdovey! Free parking permit

A beautifully renovated former Fisherman's cottage just yards from everything Aberdovey has to offer. The cottage is situated just off from the main square on a private terrace of just five cottages. It is close enough to access the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants but far enough back to be a quiet peaceful haven whenever you want. Retaining many of it's original features but also with every mod con you would expect in a modern home this cottage really will be the perfect base for your holiday.

Situated in a secluded terrace, set back from the main square, you will be a hop, skip and a jump away from all this village has to offer and the local beach. The sandy beach is segregated into a family friendly area for building sand castles, water sports or a spot of crabbing off the ever popular jetty whilst further along is a pet friendly beach stretching for several miles. You will be in easy reach of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst far enough away to remain undisturbed at night.

This charming cottage retains many original features, including a wood burning stove and slate fireplace. It also has many modern amenities including underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and a fully equipped modern kitchen and bathroom.

There are three bedrooms upstairs, one double and two bedrooms with full sized bunk beds so enough bedding for 6 upstairs.

Weekend Break

We (four adults and three dogs) had a fantastic weekend in Aberdyfi, staying at Sunny Shores. The cottage had everything we needed for our comfortable stay and is in the perfect location - walking distance to shops, plenty of eating places and the beach. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Wonderful few days away in a cosy cottage with everything we needed!

Easy check in, quick response from owners, lovely few days away. Close to the beach and some great places to eat. Perfect for long dog walks.

Lovely cottage , the only thing I would criticise is the cleaning ( all the glasses in the cupboards were dirty and we had to wash them before use ! Was glad I contacted the owner prior to travelling as VRBO didn’t send me the entrance code until 5pm on our day of arrival. Would book through aber lovely next time Will definitely be back , really cosy cottage 😊

Relaxing stay

Great short break, spending time together as a family including our dog who goes everywhere with us was so nice. The log burner made it nice and cosy. Booked for my wife’s birthday and bought back so many good memories for her when she was a child.

Perfect seaside town cottage

My family and I spent a week here in August 2022, it was perfect for us because we wanted to be right in Aberdyfi for the town and beach, but also close to the mountains, valleys and lakes that make this part of Wales so magical. The cottage and back garden were just as described, and the owner Lisa was wonderful to communicate with whenever we had a question. Thank you so much, I wish we could come back every year :-)

Perfect location

Cottage had everything you would need for your stay. Very comfortable bed with crisp white bedding. Large fluffy white towels and an excellent shower. The property has access to a rear garden which is perfect if you have a young family or dogs as it’s fully enclosed. The only downside for us was the toilet being downstairs as my husband is of a certain age and gets up in the night Lisa was always on hand if you had any problems

Wonderful!

Perfect little cottage for a break away with my adult daughters and the dogs. Great location for exploring locally and visiting family. Comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The garden is a real plus! No complaints whatsoever.

Fabulous little cottage

Great location, cottage had everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and communications with Lisa were spot on, as were her crib sheets of things to do, a definite plus as we were there for only a very short period. We fell in love with Aberdovey, everyone was so friendly and the beach was pure heaven. A visit to Dolgoch Falls is a must.

Amazing Property

Couldn't fault this property, absolutely beautiful, amazing location, lots of really nice extra touches, very homely, had a really fantastic weekend, I would definately recommend it and would love to stay again in the future.

A little gem

Such a gorgeous cottage with a home from home feel. Our dog was so settled and the location is perfect for the shops, beach and pubs. Highly recommend this holiday let and the owner so lovely to deal with. Checked we were there ok and if we needed anything lots left a lovely bottle of bubbly for our arrival. Definitely be going back now we've found this little gem xx

Lovely cottage!

Smooth organisation- easy to communicate with owner. Lovely to have a dog friendly place which was full of character too. Garden not that usable with a lively dog hence 4 star not 5. - easy access to grass area on the quay though. Cottage well equipped .

Great winter break!!

Our second time this year we have stayed here. As we stayed in the summertime . Lovely cottage. Especially in the winter with the log burner going , it’s very cozy. Aberdovey is so quiet this time of year, which is great as it’s so peaceful, so you can just wind down . Only a 2 minute walk to the beach/pubs/shops. Will definitely be returning again next year. 😃

This is a wonderful special cottage to relax in or to enjoy the the endless beach and glorious walks

The cottage is well equipped and the shower is powerful and the beds super comfortable Washing machine and dishwasher makes life very easyI would recommend this enchanting cottage in the centre of Aberdyfi.Perfectly placeed for shops bars and restaurants.This is our second stay at this lovely property and we shall be returning many more times to come.The owners of the cottage are very quick to respond to all requests and questions and have other property’s near by which we will we hopefully we be bring our friends and family too in the future
