"Absolutely horrible - probably comparable to the worst truck stop you can imagine. Terrible service, staff were lethargic and unhelpful. Guests were loud, coming and going all night - locking and unlocking doors, smoking in their rooms - which filters into your room. My shower was mouldy and there was no water at all in the morning to even take shower. As a woman travelling for business, I did not feel safe staying there."

"The Matatane camp was a unique stay on a beautiful property. The staff was really helpful, the food was delicious, and the scenery was unparalleled. A great place to stay for ventures into Babanango Game Reserve."

"Have just left this amazing place today for the 4th time. I could write a 300 page review praising how much i love to come here. There is nothing i can say negative about the lodge/guest house (stayed in both); the beautiful area; staff or food. I’ll be back next year, providing I’m breathing and really cant wait.
