"In my opinion this property is mis-represented. I believe the description has been updated since we stayed maybe, but I can't verify. It is NOT close to anything and Taxis have a hard time finding it and they are expensive. If you have a car and want a country retreat, might be ok. The ad says "Private/Shared Bath"...what it didn't say is your private bath is on the 1st floor and room is on 2nd floor. We never saw any tennis courts or a cafe/restaurant. We didnt know how to adjust the heating or...

"The house, the property, and the location were all spectacular, BUT I wouldn’t even consider renting this property without having a car. Taxis were extremely difficult to get and we were left walking significant distances from restaurants and the town of Scandicci. This may not have been as challenging in cooler weather, but it was 100F during our visit."
