"Our experience of this hotel was not 5 star. The best things about the hotel are location and staff. Very close to the beach, beautiful views, 15/20 minutes walk to the train station and town centre. Our ground floor room was very disappointing, small, poorly maintained, dirty carpet ,needed a good clean in the bathroom, black mold in shower, poorly fitting curtains. Uncomfortable bed especially the pillows. Pre ordered breakfast was ok but again not in our opinion 5 star. There is no evening...

"Fabulous B&B guest house in the quintessential heart of St Ives, whose charming owners reflect the best hospitality ethos. The breakfast part - organic, made to order, was superb. Small touchs like fresh flowers and art references elevate the decor. Everyone was very helpful at all times. Absolutely loved this place and the wonderful owners, Angela and Ollie."

"This is the best B & B I ever stayed in. The accommodation is superb, The house is beautifully decorated and adorned by marvellous paintings by a local artist. The hosts Pablo and Grove are friendly, welcoming and generous. The breakfast menu was excellent, everthing is homemade and in the afternoon we were offered tea, coffee and amazing cake. The only disadvantage is that you have to drive elsewhere in the evening for dinner though I believe the hosts can provide additional meals if requested....
