"We booked this hotel for a one-night stay in late August 2026. As a family of four (two adults and two children), we stayed in a family room with two single beds and bunk beds. While the room was functional, it felt rather cramped once we added our luggage, which included two suitcases and two carry-on trolleys. For a short stay it was fine, but we would have found it uncomfortable for several nights.
On the positive side, breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options available and choices...
"We loved, loved, loved this property. It is really close to the train station. It is an old building, with lots of charm, but well maintained and brought to modern standards. The staff were amazing, and are very proud of their little hotel and its history. If we are ever in Lillehammer again we would definitely make this our home base."
"Our rooms were very small. Booked for four people - two adults and two children. The double bed was pushed all the way against the wall, which meant the inside person had to crawl in from the foot end. With the bunk beds down, there were no space for luggage and barely enough space to squeeze by to use the bathroom. I will never again stay at this hotel."
"We visited in summer. The hotel was quiet but still with plenty of atmosphere. It was lovely to have the swimming pool almost to ourselves. We had a very enjoyable three course meal. The chef made sure we had a suitable vegetarian starter and main course.
Although we only spent one night on our way elsewhere we were very impressed with the staff, food and amenities."
"The place was not in fact ski in ski out which was a main criteria for choosing it, it appears, that there was some comeptition and that is whay you could not ski in or out.
You have to check in at a hotel that is a ways from the apartment, definitely need a car.
They do not have bed linen, you need to "rent the linen" and there is an additional charge of about 30 Euros and ofcourse you need to make the bed, the linen provided was smaller than the beds. Other than that it was a close drive...
