"The driver (I think he was originally from Liverpool) was super helpful and friendly and gave us lots of tips. The male receptionist (originally from Birmingham) was also very helpful and friendly. The other staff were ok but these two are a credit to the hotel."

"Wow what can I say… we loved staying at Borthalan House. The location is perfect for St Ives with train station only a few minutes away and easy routes to beautiful places such as St Michael’s Mount and Minack Theatre. What made our stay extra special was Margaret and Martin who really looked after us. Margaret’s breakfast was delicious and Martin’s humour gives us a good kickstart to the day. Borthalan House was really cosy and the room we stayed in had lovely sea views. We will miss our daily...
