"Lovely hotel, well maintained. We had a family room with private pool which gave us lots of space. Views stunning. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very close to the bus route to the town and beaches. Down side would be lack of pavements down to the shops but road was pretty quiet. Loads of restaurant options near by. Very easy as gratefully the locals spoke fluent English!"

"I booked this four-star hotel for a week to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary. I am sorry to say it is not four-star and everything is old and it needs a total refurbishment. All the public areas: breakfast room- lobbies- corridors were not air conditioned because the nasty Manager would not switch it on in 40•C!! We and all the other guests could not eat the very poor breakfast in the hear. Everyone was sweating in the very sunny and unbearable room. Manager yelled at me because I complained....

This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. The amenities are very simple but adequate. The hotel is a bit like a museum with beautiful antiques and architectural flourish. The rooms have balconies with sea views and AC. "Yalis is a family run hotel and they do a great job. When we checked in we were told - Do not drink the water here or in any restaurants. We were in room 8 which has an amazing balcony. The room was cleaned every day (the hotel info said every other day). Breakfast was served outside and it was lovely to see the Yalis family sat together too. There is a Bar, a pool and plenty of loungers and a hammock. We had a great stay and travelled the island from there. 20 mins walk into town with different...
