"A warm friendly welcome, got given a delicious cookie on arrival. Bed comfortable, bathroom out of this world. Great tv. Breakfast was amazing lots of choice."

"It was a tale of two halves. Nicky and Lisa on reception were really helpful and pleasant, as were the other staff we interacted with, but housekeeping let the side down. Lipstick marked glasses and a less than pristine bath on arrival; our cups weren't refreshed but towels were (even though we didn't ask for them) on the second day. It is a lovely spot though."

"Easy to check in, all the staff were really nice and friendly. The hotel building was very impressive and the interior was very traditional. The bedrooms were comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a great selection of hot and cold food. Large carpark. Would definitely recommend."

"Hotel a little dated but nothing awful, was expected as closing for refit soon. Breakfast wasn’t the best. But was cheap enough not to be fussed. Have stayed in newer and better hotels in Sheffield but did job. Look forward to seeing what happens when it reopens. "

"Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday! Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens and if you have a bike, the Peak District is also close by. I loved Sheffield and I loved the Florentine."

"AMAZING Hotel. lovely decor and top marks for cleanliness. nothing at all to fault. I stay in loads of hotels up and down the Country ever week, and this is the best I have ever stayed in. I will always be staying here whenever I visit Sheffield."

"Large airy apartment. Noise from the street could be heard, but we were tired from site seeing so it hardly disturbed our sleep. Lively part of town, lots of places to eat and drink . We walked to everything and left the car in Cavendish Road carpark 3 minutes away for £6 per 24 hours. "

"Location is great close to town centre, shops, restaurants. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Location is next to the wicker which can be loud at night. While not the fault of the apartment, the hall outside has a very strong fish smell which would not gonaway and the window has to be kept open it was so strong. "

"The cottage was lovely, clean and spacious, well equipped. Beautiful location with great views, quiet and seems remote but convenient short drive to shops."
