"The hotel is so charming! It was amazingly clean for such an old building. The owner is lovely and bends over backwards for her guests. It is set in a quaint little area with nice views and we even watched deer walk through the yard. The fan and air conditioning was quite noisy. It is a Big old hotel and the shower ran for 5 minutes and still never got warm enough to get in! We took a bird bath before continuing our road trip! The continental breakfast was satisfactory and the room it is in was stunning! To be fair to the Host we never told her about the shower…we were possibly too impatient to get back on our drive. We drove the whole of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton in 6 nights! Amazing…"
