"The owner and her son were very available and friendly. At our 7 pm check in we were asked if we planned to go to a restaurant for dinner because the nearby restaurants closed at 8 pm. With that information we decided to defer carrying suitcases to our room until after dinner. Note that there isn't an elevator in this historic building and all bedrooms are upstairs. "Been here several times before. Very comfortable, large room with a large bathroom and a view out to garden and hills beyond. Comes with kitchenette. Breakfast is included and is excellent with homemade oatmeal and toppings, blueberry scones/tea biscuits, muffins, bagels, yogurts and very good coffee. Chairs and table in room as well as television. Definitely recommended and best to book in advance as it’s very popular. "
