"Spectacular Views, but a Deeply Disappointing Hotel Experience
The view from La Bastiglia is absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, that is where my praise ends.
I stayed for five nights and paid to upgrade to the Daniela suite, expecting a comfortable, luxurious experience. Instead, I encountered one disappointment after another.
The air conditioning did not work, forcing me to leave the windows open and put up with considerable noise. The television didn’t work properly, the private patio...
"The property is cute, hard to find.
Clean. The staff helpful. Parking difficult.
Breakfast not what I am used to but I guess is their traditional one.
The room is definitely not what expected:
It called honeymoon room but it is actually an attic. Wood stairs, need to be careful. The toilet want working, The Mountain View it is just a small window that you can see the mountains but also all the town roof full of bird poop.
What they called Turkish bath, it is an actual jacuzzi but not sure is...
"What a place.... We were supposed to stay just one night but extended the stay. Fantastic staff, specifically Liisa (reception) and Alex (restaurant). They both made our stay warm and welcome. Fantastic place, great swimming pool with private seats and lawn chairs. Super clean, large and well equipped rooms. Scenery is unbelievable. We will definitely come back."

"Una struttura nel cuore di Spello che è rimasta ferma agli anni 70. Camere arredate con mobili di quell'epoca e per di piu rovinati. Il letto di una scomodità come pochi. Non parliamo poi del bagno che meriterebbe una ristrutturazione da cima a fondo. La cosa che sicuramente pesa di piu è il fatto di aver trovato un wc palesemente vecchio in quanto si vedevano chiamaramente due strisce color arancio che scendevano in verticale, segno questo di un bagno inutilizzato e non pulito frequentemente....
"L'hotel è fallito! E' chiuso da febbraio di quest'anno. Ho corso il rischio di dormire in auto. Mi ha salvato la gentilezza del titolare del ristorante in cui ho cenato.
E' già la seconda volta che capita questo problema: esiste un'altra recensione con lo stesso problema. Una compagnia come la vostra non può commettere questi errori.
Meritereste una richiesta di danni."
