"First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. "It’s an excellent location to stay for visiting Springbrook - most major trails/lookouts and cafes are a few minutes drive away. The floor, kitchen, bathroom, bed, couches and tables were very clean; instant coffee, tea and milk was provided in the cabin, and the kitchen was helpful (essential) for the night when the cafes are all closed. "Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding.
