"I've been staying here since shortly after it opened in 1986, so I obviously love the Charles and its location. The only reason I can't give it five stars is that there was a lot of noise from the obnoxious guests who checked in for a music festival; they partied until 3am, shouting in the hallway and slamming doors before doing the same in the mornings. "This is the goldilocks of hotels! They've thought of everything. Although it is an older property, it's well maintained and solid. This is our 4th stay here over the last few years and we keep coming back because it is comfortable. Love the breakfast buffet, convenience to the highway, and other pluses such as 2 luggage racks in the room, bottle of water and make-up mirror. "
