"I was in the building adjacent to the pub and my room faced the fields - what a view!
I had a double room and it was very clean and spacious, although a small bit of feedback, I think the carpets could do with a clean soon but everything else was great.
The receptionist checking me in was so friendly.
The breakfast was so tasty, the bacon and sausage were thick and chunky, really good quality. The staff at breakfast were attentive and friendly and I loved how everything was locally sourced...
"The manager, Mac, was very welcoming and took the time to explain the facilities within the hotel. Our room while a little dated, was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb and contained a variety of choices. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Recommend staying here."

Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to bad weather, which was very disappointing. However, staying at this hotel turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

"Great sea view as right on the esplanade. Very quite. Some issues with maintenance of the room, jets not working on jacuzzi bath, and silicone around bath was mouldy. Cold tap on sink moves when turned on. We asked for our tea and coffee tray to be replenished, but that didn't get done. So was a bit disappointing for the price."

"Awful! Do not stay here. Absolutely stank of sewage, contacted the owner and was ignored, contacted again the day after and again ignored. A man then turned up at pur apartment late afternoon asking if we had "stepped in dog sh*t" and we hadnt and answered no so he then went on to tell us he ignored our message because he thought it was a scam but he checked the pipes and there was no issues and it hadnt smelled when he was there before we got there. So basically accused us of lying then said...
"Lovely stay in an old quaint farm house. The room was small with two single beds (not our preference but it is what was available). The private bathroom was modern and very nice. Nigel and his wife are delightful and intelligent. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. It is a bit hard to find off a high speed road but relaxing and quiet once you get there. The donkeys are adorable! We would highly recommend a stay there."
