"Quite possibly one of the nicest Guesthouses I have ever stayed in. the owners are qualified chefs and you can tell - breakfast s are amazing , in terms of choice , portions and quality Lynda has like a very interesting life and most happy to share a lot of her adventures I could I listen to her for ages! Exceptional location right by the train station. Most comfortable pillows ever. Really felt like one of the family would definitely return again thank you both for having us. X"

Rooms perfect with en suite and views when sat outside were amazing. Loved watching the red kites . Central to all walking spots and hosts were friendly and nothing wasnt too much trouble for them. "Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "

"Good acomodation booked in with the new property owner Kurt, we were the second transaction made on his hotel account, chap by the bar beat us to no 1 position by a matter of minutes, Kurt had recently bought the Castle Hotel friday the 1st of September was his first day so basically hit the road running! He explained theres going to be big changes / improvements over the coming months so watch the space, as a New Zealander the bar area is going to be a sport bar area with some great rugby...

"Key provided didn’t work in my allocated room so I was allowed to use a different room which turned out to be a flat. Bit of an inconvenience but I probably got a better room for the same price so can’t complain. "
