"This is the goldilocks of hotels! They've thought of everything. Although it is an older property, it's well maintained and solid. This is our 4th stay here over the last few years and we keep coming back because it is comfortable. Love the breakfast buffet, convenience to the highway, and other pluses such as 2 luggage racks in the room, bottle of water and make-up mirror. "

"The hotel and room were beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and smelled nice. There wasn’t much going on in the hotel itself - a tiny little bar top but no additional amenities. The only downside to our stay was the diva at the front desk when we arrived back around 10pm after seeing a concert. We asked if there was a yummy local pizza spot we could order from and the guy said “um, I don’t know. This is a 5 star hotel, not the kind of place guests usually order pizza.” Ohhh ok your highness....

"Beautiful place. But floor in the bathroom was a little sticky. Yuck. When I checked in, I was shown a beautiful dining room where breakfast would be served. But then, instead, it was served in a much more shabby room. Also, the included breakfast was quite skimpy. Extra charge for a real breakfast. (Also, I may be wrong, but I don’t think the word “potatoes” appears anywhere on the menu. Of course, you do serve potatoes - with a delicious omelette that I enjoyed, for example.)"

"Had a wonderful stay, Elizabeth is a fantastic hostess, chef, conversationalist and all around humanitarian. Loved all the extra touches you don't get in a hotel, hot tea, organic apples, exquisite soaps, fine books and chimes from antique clocks. I would highly recommend Elizabeth's Tavern to anyone who is looking to experience an immersive "colonial feel" with all the comforts of modern day living."
