"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Maria Christina Hotel. An interesting old building, next to an old bull fighting ring, turned into spacious and comfortable rooms. The bed was particularly comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and the location was perfect -- just outside the gates but an easy walk into the central part of Toledo. The breakfast was very good as well. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it!"

"The Toledo Parador is excellent - the staff are charming and the views over Toledo are breathtaking . Our room was clean and the breakfasts were tasty. Despite giving the Parador 5 stars for everything, we had one quibble which was worth no stars! - the precise location of our room. We stayed in room 423 - which is approached via an open corridor balcony overlooking the reception area. Our own room balcony (facing Toledo) was above the hotel cafeteria. As a result, there was constant noise and chatter from the cafeteria all day, particularly from the cafeteria patio one floor below our balcony. And to make matters worse, late night revellers, returning to the hotel at 2am, would talk loudly at reception which immediately woke us up. We have no hesitation in recommending the wonderful Toledo Parador but, if you have a choice, do NOT stay in room 423!! "
