"A good hotel for a shorter stay. Went for a work travel so it was reasonably priced. Could use an update, rooms were clean, but no wow effect (plus of having a fridge in the room), and better breakfast service (bar service in the evening was good)"

"The George Manor is a beautiful 1851 historic home that is well-maintained. The staff are awesome…and the food is professionally prepared and delicious! "Secure parking was a plus. We had a good view looking south over the pool area toward the beach. The unit was good. Could use new window treatments but for the most part very good. Need more towels. "

"The condo was clean, smells clean and was very comfortable, especially the beds. The pool area was clean and well maintained but the condo association (separate entity) is not keeping up the outside repairs of the buildings at all and mildew does exist on the outside only! "

"The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed in the kitchen area. We booked the house for 5 days annd there were 5 guests and was only given 2 tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner and one trash bag. So we had to go and buy shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, trash bags and dishwasher detergent. Other then that our stay was amazing."

"We liked that it was right off the beach and you did not have to walk across the busy road. The host was very attentive and responsive to our questions. The place was clean and had everything you needed to cook. Perfect for a couple or a small family. We would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!"

"Our stay at Harborwalk Lodge was fantastic. It’s off the beaten path but close enough to Galveston where the drive is nominal. The breakfast was delicious, the room was great, and the owners are a joy. 10/10 would stay there again."

"Great location away from all the tourist areas. Loved the shower but it was somewhat a hassle when the whole family needed to bathe and there is only one bathroom. Also, there was a pet odor in the house that was very noticeable. We can tell that it has a furbaby living there previously. Wish there was a way to eliminate the odor instead of trying to mask the odor. Loved the park just down the street. And the laundry room was a tight squeeze. "
