"Comfortable room, needing a bit of TLC but met with expectations. Breakfast was tasty but a bit over priced. Good location - walkable to coast and station - with 25mins train into Edinburgh. The stay worked perfectly well for a family - 2 adults with 2 boys (11 and 9)"
"We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future."

Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar ein Kühlschrank befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut! Insgesamt die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise!"

"Usual YHA setup but in interesting and peaceful location on a private courtyard, nice and quiet even in the heart of Berwick.
Breakfast made to order and very good, includes coffee or you can have one made on an espresso machine for an up charge. Private rooms available with en-suite was a good balance of value for money and privacy"

"The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days.
It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. We also spent a day surfing in Coldingham Bay only a stone's through away.

"Good place for a 2 night stay. Single beds were very narrow for an adult. No towels or tea towels which would have been good. Service from the owner was brilliant...she is a very nice lady. It was a shame that the pub/restaurant has closed as you have to go in to Berwick for food. "
