"Overall bad experience, firstly the room was dirty about checkin and had to wait an hour to get it cleaned. Upon checkout, there was a bogus bar charge on my bill, I brought it up and they showed me a receipt with some other name on it. The check out person seemed annoyed and claimed that they would have it handled - it was not and now I have a charge on my credit card to deal with."
"Room was comfortable, buffet breakfast has a good variety of options and staff were helpful. Hotel is in a good location, with number of restaurants, beaches, town centre all within walking distance. Grounds of hotel are well maintained and facilities in a reasonable condition. Would definitely consider staying here again."
"The room said balcony but we were in the basement
The receptionist was extremely rude and didn’t mention that we need to pay extra for a safe and the lock
The shower did not keep the water in at all so the water would get all over the bathroom, had to be careful and point the water the opposite direction. Mold in shower.
The walls were extremely thin so you can hear everything going on outside your room, would not recommend anyone stay here"
"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The bathroom looked a bit worn and could use some updating. There was also an issue with the breakfast pricing: the website stated that children’s breakfast was $8.50, but when we asked at the hotel, we were told that children were charged the same price as adults. It would be helpful if the pricing information was consistent. Other than that, the staff were friendly and the location was perfect for us."
"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, auch wenn das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist.
Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich! Saubere Zimmer aber leider kein barrierefreies duschen möglich, da nur Bäder mit Badewanne. Hat uns persönlich aber nicht gestört. Frühstück sehr gut aber immer gleich. Direkter Strandzugang vom Hotelgarten mit Pool! Sehr schön, da man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen gefunden hat. Falls wir noch einmal nach Ferragudo reisen, würden wir es erneut buchen."
"Lovely hotel, very friendly, helpful, kind staff.
Rooms, hotel reception, lounge area, restaurant, poolside all very clean & well kept.
Great choice for breakfast, no bar as such though.. couldn't come back and sit and have a drink in the evening.
We stayed for 4 nights and room cleaned, tidied every day.
