"Upon arrival their was no parking available unless we parked away from the hotel which was a 5 min walk from the hotel and not secure parking. When checking in we were asked for a £40 depisit which was not menyioned when booking the hotel.The payment was taken from our account immedietly but not returned to us immedietly and told it would take up to 5 days to be returned. Unfortunetly we did not stay the night in the hotel as a mouse trap was found in the room which unsettled my family. Not...

"Not sure how its a 4-star. Anyway, the restaurant was really good, great food (but a bit heavy on cheese and light on mushrooms in the risotto) and wine. Special recognition for Tilly, who was very attentive. The fire alarm went off 12 times in the night, really? The room, No. 17, was way too hot, maybe that's what triggered the alarm? The heated towel rail was on full and I couldn't see how to turn it off. The bathroom extractor fan ran on for ages."
